A field of poppies was the inspiration for this creation and a timely reminder that we should never forget our fallen heroes of all the wars who helped keep our country safe.
The base is a collage of recycled and vintage fabrics, handstitched together and the poppies were appliqued on the top, again using hand stitch.
It will come mounted on a piece of cartridge paper ready to be popped into a frame of your choice. Equally it would look lovely mounted on a canvas so that the textures are not hidden behind glass.. your choice!
