Three Sunflowers

Who doesn't love a sunflower? How about 3 of them?! Inspired by the sunflower fields that surrounded our old french house, these bright, happy flowers are sure to bring a little bit of cheer to anyone's home decor.

The background to this piece was created using collaged pieces of recycled and vintage fabrics still showing signs of wear and tear, that were handstitched together. The sunflowers and leaves, again using collaged fabric and papers, were then machine stitched onto the background.

Mounted on cartridge paper it's ready to be popped into a frame of your choice or, alternatively, it can be attached to a canvas so that the textures are not hidden behind glass.
